This Full Policy, the short Community Guidelines, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy together govern use of the Service. If there is a conflict about what may be listed, how listings are reviewed, how rank is awarded, or how violations are handled, this Full Policy controls over the short Community Guidelines. The Terms of Service control over this Full Policy on contract, payment, disclaimer, indemnity, limitation of liability, and governing-law issues. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

This policy is a set of platform rules. It is not legal advice to users and is not a legal opinion that any particular listing is lawful in every jurisdiction.

1. NATURE OF THE SERVICE

1.1 Post A Gig is a for-profit advertising marketplace. A "Listing" is a paid advertisement for visibility on the Service.

1.2 "Rank is the bid." A "Bid" is the amount a user pays through official checkout to compete for a ranking position in a published time window (for example, today, this week, or another displayed window) within a category, state, or other displayed board.

1.3 We sell advertising, not job placement, recruiting, staffing, employment, lead generation with a guaranteed result, escrow, payment processing between posters and applicants, or charitable fundraising.

1.4 Payments to the Service are not donations and are not tax-deductible. Receipts may show POSTAGIG. A Listing that concerns a humanitarian, advocacy, nonprofit, or community campaign remains an advertisement. Money paid to obtain Rank is consideration for advertising, not a contribution to the listed cause.

1.5 We do not guarantee clicks, views, applicants, hires, messages, donations to a cause, or any business outcome. A chargeback or refund request based on failure to obtain applicants or results is inconsistent with this policy and the Terms.

1.6 Publication or Rank is not an endorsement, verification, or representation that the Listing, poster, opportunity, or campaign is legitimate, licensed, or lawful in every jurisdiction.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Service may be used only by individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and who have legal capacity to enter a contract.

2.2 A poster must be: (a) the individual named in the Listing; or (b) an authorized employee, owner, officer, agent, or representative of the named business, organization, or person, with authority to publish the Listing and to authorize the Bid.

2.3 Users must provide a working email address and, at checkout, valid payment information through our designated processor. As of the Effective Date, card checkout is processed by Dodo Payments. We do not store full card numbers.

2.4 One primary account is allowed per natural person or legal entity unless we expressly approve additional organizational accounts in writing.

2.5 The following are not eligible: (a) anyone under 18; (b) a person or entity we have suspended or banned, or who creates a new account to evade enforcement; (c) a person or entity that cannot pass payment-processor or compliance checks, including failed, stolen, or unauthorized payment methods, sanctioned parties, or unresolved identity mismatches; (d) bots, scrapers, or bulk-posting tools used without our prior written permission.

2.6 We may condition publication, Rank, withdrawal of funds (if ever offered), or continued access on identity, business-registration, tax, or nonprofit verification. Refusal or failure to complete verification is an independent basis to keep a Listing unpublished, to withhold Rank, and to refuse a Bid.

3. LISTING ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIRED CONTENT

3.1 A Listing may advertise a lawful gig, role, project, service needed or offered, volunteer call, or awareness campaign.

3.2 Each Listing must, at minimum: (a) identify the poster by a real personal name or real organization name; (b) describe the opportunity in plain language; (c) state location (city and state, multiple lawful states, or remote); (d) use the correct category and state or filter; (e) state how an interested person should respond; (f) accurately state compensation, including if the role is unpaid, volunteer, commission-only, stipend, or "pay to be discussed"; (g) accurately state whether the intended relationship is employment, independent contracting, volunteering, or something else; (h) comply with all laws applicable to the poster and to the place where the work or activity would occur, including wage-and-hour, tax, advertising, consumer-protection, licensing, and anti-discrimination laws; (i) if the Listing is job-style advertising, avoid selection criteria based on protected characteristics under applicable law, except where a bona fide occupational qualification is lawful and disclosed; (j) if the Listing concerns a humanitarian, nonprofit, advocacy, or fundraising-adjacent campaign, state that payments on Post A Gig purchase advertising Rank only and are not donations.

3.3 Listings must be in good faith. A Listing created only to occupy Rank, test the board without a "DEMO" label, harvest personal data, phish, or bait viewers into a different offer is not eligible.

3.4 Material changes to an approved Listing, including changes to the offer, employer or organization identity, location, pay, or target category, require re-review. We may unlist the Listing and may void Rank associated with the prior version.

3.5 Users are solely responsible for the legality of their Listings and for any off-platform relationship that follows from a Listing.

4. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND ACTIVITIES

Users may not post, Bid on, promote, request, or use the Service to arrange any of the following. Attempting to do so is a material violation.

4.1 Illegal and high-risk conduct (a) any crime, or work whose principal purpose is to commit, conceal, or facilitate a crime; (b) fraud, scams, phishing, social-engineering, identity theft, stolen property, fake-check or advance-fee schemes, or "guaranteed income" offers that are deceptive; (c) money-mule activity, cashing instruments for others, structuring, or unlicensed money transmission; (d) trafficking, coercion, exploitation, or procurement of persons; (e) child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors, including fictional, animated, or AI-generated depictions; grooming; or requests for sexual images of minors; (f) non-consensual intimate imagery, doxxing, stalking, or harassment-for-hire; (g) controlled substances, illegal drugs, or offers to manufacture or distribute them; (h) unlawful weapons, explosives, or instructions whose purpose is violent harm; (i) counterfeit goods, forged documents, fake identification, or diploma mills.

4.2 Financial, professional, and charity misuse (a) offering or soliciting securities, investment contracts, pooled investment, or "guaranteed return" trading or crypto arrangements unless the poster is properly registered or exempt and the Listing lawfully discloses that status; (b) unlicensed practice of a regulated profession, including law, medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, accounting, architecture, engineering stamping, real-estate brokerage, or insurance production, where a license is required; (c) pyramid, Ponzi, or chain-referral schemes; (d) stating or implying that a Post A Gig payment is a charitable contribution, a tax-deductible donation, or funds received by the listed cause.

4.3 Marketplace and Bid abuse (a) fake, placeholder, or cloned Listings posted to occupy Rank; (b) shill bidding, self-bidding from additional accounts, or coordinated bidding rings; (c) buying Rank for a Listing the payer does not control; (d) off-platform side payments intended to change Rank outside checkout; (e) chargeback abuse, including disputing a settled Rank purchase because the Listing received few clicks or no applicants; (f) scraping, republishing another user's Listing as one's own, or impersonating a brand or organization; (g) evading a ban or review hold.

4.4 Misleading, harmful, or excluded categories (a) impersonation of a person, company, charity, school, or government; (b) bait-and-switch compensation, hidden fees, or "trial work" that is free labor rather than a genuine evaluation; (c) adult sexual services, pornography, or escorting; (d) hate advocacy, or Listings that exclude persons based on protected characteristics except as permitted by law; (e) false or dangerous medical or legal claims; (f) content that exists primarily to threaten, abuse, or defame a private individual.

4.5 Cross-border and state-law conflicts If conduct is lawful in one jurisdiction and unlawful in another, the Listing must be limited to lawful jurisdictions and must say so. We may refuse a Listing rather than parse conflicting state rules.

4.6 Child-safety reporting Where we obtain actual knowledge of apparent child sexual abuse material, we will preserve relevant records and make any report required by law, including to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or other competent authority. We may also terminate the account and cooperate with lawful process.

5. REVIEW OF LISTINGS AND BIDS

5.1 Pre-publication We may require completed fields, automated keyword and pattern filters, duplicate-account and device checks, payment-risk checks, and manual review. First-time posters, high Bids, sensitive categories, and filter hits may be held in Pending status. Rank is not displayed until the Listing is approved and the associated payment has settled.

5.2 Rank determination (a) Only a Bid paid through official checkout and not later reversed qualifies as a valid Bid. (b) Subject to these rules, the approved Listing with the highest valid Bid holds the displayed position for the applicable window. (c) If valid Bids are equal, the earlier settled payment keeps the position. (d) We may set minimums, maximums, increments, windows, and verification thresholds. (e) A canceled, failed, charged-back, or reversed payment does not support Rank. We may restore the prior valid order.

5.3 Post-publication We review user reports, processor alerts, unusual Bid velocity, multi-account signals, and material edits. We do not represent that every Listing is human-reviewed before it appears.

5.4 Decisions We may approve, approve with required edits, unlist, remove, void a Bid, suspend, ban, and preserve records. We may act with or without prior notice when we reasonably believe delay would cause harm, payment risk, or legal exposure.

5.5 Timing We aim to open review of a complete user report within two (2) business days. Fraud, identity, or legal questions may take longer. We are not liable for review speed.

6. SAFEGUARDS AGAINST FRAUDULENT OR MANIPULATED BIDDING

6.1 Rank is applied only after processor settlement tagged to a specific Listing and window.

6.2 The payer identity, account, and Listing owner should match. Material mismatch is grounds to hold or void Rank.

6.3 Multiple accounts used to manufacture competition, recycle bans, or self-outbid are prohibited. We may treat related accounts as one actor and strip Rank from all of them.

6.4 New accounts may be subject to waiting periods, Bid caps, or extra verification.

6.5 After a Bid is live, the Listing may not be swapped to a substantially different offer. Doing so may forfeit Rank.

6.6 Current leading Bid amounts may be displayed. Private side deals are not recognized.

6.7 Company personnel and contractors may not Bid on public Rank to manipulate boards, except for clearly labeled DEMO or test Listings.

6.8 We may maintain logs of Listing versions, Bid amounts, payment identifiers, technical signals reasonably available to us, reports, and moderator actions.

6.9 We may share limited information with our payment processor to investigate fraud, unauthorized charges, or policy evasion.

7. REPORTING, INVESTIGATION, APPEALS, AND DISPUTES

7.1 Reporting Report through the Report control on a Listing or by email to contact form. Include the Listing URL or ID, a description of the violation, your contact email, and supporting evidence.

7.2 Imminent harm If a person is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first, then notify us. Use subject line URGENT for exploitation, violent threats, or similar harm.

7.3 Process We will log the report. For serious allegations (illegality, impersonation, fraud, exploitation), we may freeze public Rank while we review. We may contact the poster for verification. We will decide on no action, required edits, removal, Bid void, suspension, or ban. We may confirm receipt to the reporter without disclosing another user's personal information.

7.4 Bad-faith reports Knowingly false, repetitive, or retaliatory reports are violations.

7.5 Appeals A poster may appeal removal, Bid void, suspension, or ban by emailing contact form within fourteen (14) days after notice, stating the Listing or account ID and a factual basis. We will conduct one additional review. We have no obligation to restore a repeat or severe violation.

7.6 Payment and Rank disputes Valid refund or reversal requests are generally limited to: (a) duplicate charges for the same Bid; (b) payment collected for a Listing we rejected before the paid window began, so that Rank was never provided; (c) a confirmed Service error that deprived the payer of paid Rank. Not valid: change of mind; poor performance; no applicants; violation of this policy; or a Listing that ran for any portion of the paid window.

7.7 Off-platform disputes We do not mediate, arbitrate, escrow, or guarantee work, pay, interviews, or campaign performance between a poster and any third party.

7.8 Legal process We may preserve and disclose records as required by law, to prevent harm, or to protect the Company, users, or payment partners.

8. ENFORCEMENT

8.1 Ordinary ladder (a) Warning and required edits for a first minor defect; (b) Removal, with possible Bid forfeiture, for prohibited or seriously inaccurate content; (c) Suspension for repeat violations, payment risk, or Bid manipulation; (d) Permanent ban for illegality, fraud, evasion, or exploitation.

8.2 We may skip steps. Bid forfeiture may apply even on a first serious violation.

8.3 Enforcement is not a finding by a court. Users remain responsible to regulators, applicants, and other third parties.

9. RECORDS

We intend to retain Listing snapshots, Bid and payment identifiers, reports, and enforcement notes for at least three (3) years after the last Bid on the account, or longer if a dispute, chargeback, or investigation is open, unless a shorter period is required by law. Identity documents collected for verification will be access-restricted and used only for eligibility, safety, payment-risk, and legal purposes.

10. CHANGES

We may update this Full Policy at any time. The updated policy applies to Listings created or Bids placed after the new effective date. Continued use after the update is acceptance. For material changes we may also post a notice on the Service or email the address on the account.
